All of our yorkies come from private breeders all around the World! 

For those who are local, the puppies are hand delivered to you!. For our out-of-state breeders, the puppies are picked up by our Nanny and hand delivered to your home.

What is a teacup puppy?
A teacup puppy is any dog that weighs 4 lbs. or less fully grown. 

Teacup is not a breed, it is merely a term used to describe the size of a particular dog.

Are teacup puppies sickly and unhealthy?
This is a very common misconception, but the answer is NO. Not all teacup sized puppies are sickly and unhealthy. They do, however, require a bit more care than larger breed puppies. Often times, it is not the puppy that is sick, but rather the puppy did not receive the proper care that it required. 

Due to their tiny size and delicate nature, teacup puppies are very similar to newborn babies in the way the way that their immune systems are not yet fully developed.

In a few months' time, their immune systems grow stronger, just as a baby's does, and they are just as healthy as any other dog. It is also crucial for a teacup sized puppy to eat every few hours, as their bellies are much smaller and, as a result, hold less food. Improper care and feeding may lead to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), which can be fatal if left untreated. Hypoglycemia is easily avoidable, and all customers are properly trained in the care of teacup sized puppies and the prevention of hypoglycemia. All of our puppies are thoroughly checked by a licensed veterinarian and issued a health certificate before going to their new home.

What are the prices of your Yorkie puppies in Edmonton?
Each puppy is priced individually according to the size, and desirable characteristics. TeaCups sized puppies typically begin at $3200.  Extreme Teacup sized puppies are more rare and begin at $5,500. If you are interested in a particular puppy, please call 403.606.8924 for more information.

Hypoglycemia is a great concern. Similar to a newborn baby, teacup puppies must eat every few hours to maintain stable blood sugar levels. But flights can be long, and if no one is there to make sure the puppy is eating, things can go horribly wrong. 

For qualifying customers, we do offer a hand delivery service in which we carefully deliver your precious baby to you and provide you with all the knowledge you will need to care for your new puppy and prevent hypoglycemia. How old are your babydoll yorkies puppies? 
Our puppies vary in age, but must be at least 8 weeks old before arriving in our care. However, it is not unusual for a teacup puppy to arrive a few weeks or months later than the rest, since nursing from mom may take a bit longer.

Most puppies are ready to go after being checked by a veterinarian, but sometimes the tiny ones must stay a bit longer, so we can make sure they develop good eating habits to avoid hypoglycemia. Our teacup puppies must weigh at least -+1.5 lb. before going home.
